As a Quality Engineer II at Honeywell, you will be a part of a team of Quality\nEngineers within the PSS SBU and the global business of Industrial\nAutomation. This role requires the\nperson to apply their expertise and knowledge in finding innovative,\ncost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You\nwill drive process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer\nrequirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations,\nand engineering specifications while instilling site accountability\nfor governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product\nquality. You will report directly to our IA Quality Engineering Director, and\nyou'll work out of PSS location or sites on a hybrid work schedule. In\nthis role, you will impact the quality output and continuous\nimprovement of our products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and\nregulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Idea generation
• \nBrainstorm solutions
• Continuous\nimprovement
• Risk\nanalysis
• \nCoordinate resolution
• \nProcess definition
• \nAuditor of process
• \nRegulatory reviews
• Cost\nimprovement analysis
• \nDrive technical solutions
Basic Qualifications:
• Hands-on work experience
Out-of-the-box thinking
Provide clear and concise communications
Greenbelt Certified
Proficient computer skills
Product Certification experience
Regulatory experience
APQA experience
Knowledge of six sigma tools
Ability to partner with others on projects
Understanding of quality processes
Preferred Qualification:
Comprehension and practical application of risk assessments
Experience certifying new products, working with global regulatory agencies, test labs, etc.
Distribution Center or Manufacturing Safety experience within the material handling solution industry
Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
