Job Title: Quality Engineer/CMM Programmer
Job Description

In this role, you will function as a Quality Engineer, supporting the quality manager by utilizing your skills with micrometers and calipers while working with metals. You will engage in hands-on activities both in the lab and on the production floor, collaborating alongside CNC machines. Daily communication with suppliers about orders will be a key responsibility.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the quality manager in maintaining high-quality standards.Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.Work in both lab and production floor environments.Collaborate closely with CNC machines.Communicate daily with suppliers regarding orders.Ensure responsibility for the first piece process.Operate and program CMM equipment.Essential SkillsProficient in using micrometers and calipers.Experience with castings and forgings in the industry for at least 6 months.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.At least 2 years of experience in CMM operating or programming.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of GD&T and PPAP processes.Familiarity with IATF standards.Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.Work Environment

The work environment consists of a team of 50 employees. You will be greeted by Snickers, a friendly dog at the front, emphasizing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
