Description:You will be the Quality Engineer Associate for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for applying quality principles to ensure product or process quality for make and/or buy products, driving excellence in design, production, and research and development.

As the Quality Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for performing technical evaluations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs
• Collaborating with program management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues
• Developing strategies to improve internal and supplier performance, and conducting statistical analysis to assess product quality
• Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes to ensure compliance with requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM
-Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance
-Ability to travel
-Ability to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
-Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions and / or PO notes.
-Knowledge Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Demonstrated presentation skills
Desired Skills:
-Effective communication skills, i.e., written, oral, listening and technical writing
-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
-Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products
-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex.
-Experience in disposition of non-conforming products
-Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
-Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
