Quality Engineer

In this position, you will get to: + Deploy the nVent’s Quality Management System and Ensures it’s expectations and develops systems and performance objectives + Drive proactive quality improvements actions in the internal process and subcons. + Conducts daily process audits and collaborates with multi-functional teams for the actions + Conducts Monthly and periodical ESD audits and ensure no deviations + Conducts in-process quality checks and Finished products audits as per the sampling plan. + Responsible to initiate the actions for the defects and get the 8D from the concern team + Respond and drive rapid resolution to Customer issues through 8D or any other problem-solving methodologies. + Responsible to audit the new product introduction process and V&V and generates the FAI reports. + Responsible to review and approve the Work Instructions, Labels Templates and other documents to release in DCC. + Responsible for reviewing and suggesting to the Quality Manager on receiving deviation requests from the various collaborators, vendors, and supply base. + Responsible to review and initiate the actions for FPY / RTY and assembly process issues and reporting weekly and monthly. + Responsible to initiate the Kaizen / 6 Sigma Projects for the complex issues and actions + Responsible to ensure the successful completion of the goals assigned by Quality Manager and the Management as and when assigned. You have: + Academic background in **Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering (BE / B. Tech) in Electrical / Electronics,** + Previous experience in or with **3 - 5 or more years work experience in manufacturing areas Manufacturing Quality, Supplier quality & NPD Quality** + Skills : Hands on experience of **SPC,** **FAI,** **PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA.** + **Competent in driving improvement through problem-solving methodologies (8Ds, Kaizen, A3, Lean, 6 Sigma). 6 Sigma Green Belt as an added advantage** + **Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, IPC610 & IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training/Certification is an added advantage.** **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
