Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description As a Quality Engineer, you will take necessary actions to ensure that our products and services meet customer requirements and drive continuous quality improvement. You will focus on the quality excellence of production sectors, supply chain, and manage timely customer containment actions. Responsibilities + Manage quality for one or multiple production sectors. + Ensure the Process Control Plan aligns with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). + Challenge supervisors to proactively identify and manage risks. + Serve as the local expert for the traceability system on the manufacturing floor. + Lead process audits and FMEAs. + Create and maintain quality control documentation, ensure training and application within the sector. + Lead continuous improvement initiatives. + Conduct containment actions, root cause analysis, and problem-solving for quality issues. + Participate in Short Interval Management of production lines. + Provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. + Contribute to process/control capability implementation and provide quality inputs for new evolutions. + Act as the local expert for assembled products in your sector. Essential Skills + Minimum of three years experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or manufacturing engineering. + Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic). + Proficiency in English. + Experience with 8D problem-solving methodology and tools such as 5Why and fishbone analysis. + Six Sigma knowledge or certification. + Experience with ESD. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Engineering. + 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering. Work Environment This position is based at our Fairfield, OH facility, providing a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on quality excellence. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
