Quality Engineers Needed – Join a Cutting-Edge Aerospace & Defense Team(Open to All Levels! Two positions available)
Job Description
Serve as the liaison and team leader across departments, ensuring adherence to quality and reliability procedures. Act as the primary contact for Program Teams, managing all Product Assurance Elements, tracking program budgets, and providing work scope for team members. Develop and implement quality procedures, support proposals for new jobs, and inform team members of proposal requirements. Develop and maintain monthly program status and establish metrics reporting to analyze results for adverse trends.
Responsibilities
+ Act as a single point of contact for all Product Assurance Elements.
+ Track program budgets and provide work scope for assigned team members.
+ Support proposals for new jobs and inform team members of proposal requirements.
+ Develop and implement quality procedures.
+ Establish and collect data for metrics reporting, analyzing results for adverse trends.
+ Prepare and present status reports for management and customers.
+ Generate and track responses to internal and supplier Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
+ Establish and maintain an effective monitoring program using PC-based tools.
+ Perform detailed contract reviews to determine quality assurance requirements.
+ Communicate effectively with personnel at various levels regarding technical and management issues.
+ Occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with CAPA, audit, root cause analysis, and quality control.
+ Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
+ Proficiency in quality engineering, testing, and troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of electronic components, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
+ Experience with quality assurance and quality management systems.
+ Ability to develop and track corrective action plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, from a four-year college or university.
+ 3-12 years of related experience.
Work Environment
Work on the manufacturing floor, primarily at a bench within different areas. Responsibilities include troubleshooting products, identifying or confirming issues, replacing or repairing components, retesting, and moving products along. Collaborate with a lead and supervisor, with a willingness to train. The schedule follows a 9/80 work week, with the first week consisting of nine-hour days and Friday being eight hours. Employees are paid bi-weekly. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
