Job Description
Position Summary:
The Quality Engineer role supports quality services and site, to plan, direct, and implement Syntegon’s Quality management programs and to ensure a positive, safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for supporting the site's Business Management System (QMS, EMS, OHSMS), writing procedures, processes and instructions.Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain.Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts to address the root cause of quality related issues. Manage key quality processes (i.e., document control, auditing, non-conforming).Support quality systems by collecting and providing information to internal and external customersInteract with external customers/suppliers on issues such as complaints, improvement plans, documentation, returned material authorization (RMA), etcQualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering/manufacturing or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar quality role.Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with and work well with others in order to manage projects, meetings.Familiar with using various office equipment, computers and various programs including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, networking and cloud-based systems.Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people and drive changePreferred Requirements:
The Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification beneficialExternal auditor certification ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 highly desirableFamiliarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniquesHas the ability to deliver internal training effectivelyAdditional InformationThe expected compensation range for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 annually.
