Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description This Quality Engineer position requires direct interaction with customers to support and resolve quality issues as they arise. The role involves handling customer reports of defective parts and communicating these issues to the team for resolution. Responsibilities include managing PPAPs, containment strategies, scheduling sorting activities, and writing detailed reports on analysis and corrective actions. The position may require floor inspections to troubleshoot, determine defect causes, and develop resolutions, along with direct communication with customers both in writing and verbally. The work involves electronic control units in a fast-paced, clean room manufacturing environment that is climate-controlled. The facility requires khakis or work pants and polo shirts as dress code, with safety shoes mandatory on the production floor. Shoe covers, smocks, and hairnets are provided as needed. A company-provided laptop is available for work use. Typical working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime when necessary. The company offers quarterly feedback, 6 billable holidays, and 10 PTO days per 12-month contract. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
