CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer opening for our client in Whitsett, NC. Location: Whitsett, NC Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension Duties: Lead corrective action initiatives through comprehensive failure analysis Develop, enhance, and implement robust quality control procedures and standards Conduct inspections of manufacturing processes, documentation, and products to ensure compliance with internal and external standards Analyze internal and external failure costs, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements Evaluate product quality through statistical analysis and risk-based assessments Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain to address and resolve quality issues Monitor and assess supplier quality performance and assist in supplier development as needed Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and manufacturing operations Skilled in quality engineering practices, base parts management, and data-driven decision-making Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely Demonstrated emotional intelligence, responsibility, fairness, honesty, and ethical behavior Experience: Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment Experience in root cause analysis, failure mode analysis, and leading corrective/preventive action plans Demonstrated success in process improvement and driving quality initiatives Exposure to regulatory compliance, audits, and supplier quality management Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
