**What you'll do…**
+ Lead Model Quality Monitoring: Oversee the quality performance of current models, including the analysis of customer data and key performance indicators for newly launched programs.
+ Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and report RD mapping, warranty R/1000, and CPU trend data to support product engineering prioritization and measure initiative outcomes.
+ Quality Improvement Leadership: Drive root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions, leading cross-functional efforts to enhance product quality.
+ Customer Insight Development: Analyze customer feedback and warranty trends to identify underlying issues and contributing factors, delivering clear, actionable insights.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with EDS Design, PVT, FCSD, Core Engineering, and suppliers to develop and track quality improvement action plans for top concerns.
+ Supplier Warranty Reviews: Lead supplier part reviews at WPAC to validate failure modes and support quality improvement strategies.
+ Claims Management: Conduct re-binning of warranty claims for vehicles beyond 4 months-in-service (4MIS), as necessary.
+ Wiring Quality Advancement: Champion wiring quality improvements in alignment with corporate business plan quality targets.
+ Meeting Support & Reporting: Provide quality input for weekly Wiring and EDS meetings, and support Chief and Director-level quality reviews.
**You'll have…**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field)
+ up to 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering
+ Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC)
+ Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc.)
+ Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
+ Experience in cross-functional collaboration (design, manufacturing, suppliers)
+ Analytical & Technical Skills: Experience with Ford systems like QSAR, GSAR, FMD, RD Mapping, GCQIS.
+ Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
+ Team Leadership: Strong organization and coordination skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Even better, you may have…**
+ Experience with warranty or field performance data analysis
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
+ Knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes
+ Familiarity with automotive quality systems (e.g., QSAR, GSAR, FMD)
+ Understanding of electrical systems or wire harness diagnostics (if role-specific)
