Adecco’s Permanent Recruitment team is excited to partner with a **leading manufacturer in the Aerospace & Defense industry** to identify a **Quality Engineer** who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. This is a direct hire opportunity with a strong compensation package and long-term growth potential.
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and advancing quality system requirements across production processes, customer requirements, and industry standards. You’ll lead problem-solving initiatives, support audit readiness, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product quality and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
**What You’ll Be Doing:**
+ Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
+ Support internal and external audits and serve as Lead Internal Auditor
+ Ensure product and process compliance through control plans, metrics tracking, and quality reporting
+ Manage customer complaints, CARs, and other recurring QMS elements
+ Collaborate with operations, process planning, and engineering to optimize quality tools and measurement systems
+ Drive quality improvement projects across manufacturing and supply chain teams
+ Interpret engineering drawings/specs and apply appropriate statistical methods for quality control
**What We’re Looking For:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (materials science, metallurgy, chemistry preferred)
+ 4+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
+ Strong knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality standards (preferred)
+ Hands-on experience with internal auditing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
+ Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with data analysis for quality metrics
**Pay Details:** $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
