Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change to your clients is enabled by our strategic partner ecosystem and our robust technology platforms across the IBM portofolio **Your role and responsibilities** * Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional testing. * Execute manual and automated functional test cases across web, mobile, and/or backend systems. * Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. * Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis in collaboration with development teams. * Ensure the quality of software deliverables through rigorous testing and validation. * Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and QA-related reviews in Agile/Scrum environments. * Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reusable test assets and documentation. * Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-release verification activities. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering with a focus on functional testing. * Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. * Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. * Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. * Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
