Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to serve as the primary Quality representative on the MRO line, collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and customers to ensure the highest standards of quality are met.

ResponsibilitiesLead and support root cause investigations, FRACAS management, corrective actions, and nonconformance management.Gather, analyze, and present data to identify trends and risks using proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and filters.Ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively, escalating when necessary and following through to closure.Adapt to evolving situations, confidently make decisions, and convey ownership.Essential SkillsQuality engineering and root cause analysis.Experience with AS9100, aerospace inspection practices, and RCCA methodologies such as 8D and 5-Whys.Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and levels, from technicians to leadership.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, preferably in an MRO environment.J-STD, IPC-610 certifications (current or previous) are a plus.Exposure to ERP systems like SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems such as Siemens MES or Factory Logix.Advanced data analysis skills using tools like PowerBI and SQL.Work Environment

This position operates on the first shift, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to start at 7 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr.
