Quality Engineer

You'll lead initiatives that prevent defects, resolve critical field issues, and continuously improve our quality indicators, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the reliability of our innovative solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the quality of our offerings and the efficiency of our operations. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: + **Leading customer complaint resolution** for manufacturing processes using the **8 Disciplines (8D) methodology** , ensuring immediate containment (within 24 hours) for field quality issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. + Ensuring the proper implementation of **Statistical Process Control (SPC)** , including calculating, reporting, and monitoring **Cpk indices** for assigned processes, and collaborating with manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams to drive process improvements. + **Owning key process quality indicators** (e.g., **RTY/FPY, Scrap, Non-Conforming Product, Reworks, Held-in-plant** ), proposing appropriate metrics, and leading the implementation of **Poka-Yokes** to enhance detection levels and reduce potential failure modes identified in **PFMEA** and Control Plans. + Developing and implementing **Measurement System Analysis (MSA)** studies to ensure the reliability of measurement equipment and methods, and identifying opportunities for measurement improvement and proposing new equipment. + Maintaining and sustaining **standard work and controls** on production lines (e.g., Quality Control Plans, checklists, visual aids), supervising quality auditors, and training/developing operational personnel on quality standards and field information feedback. **Requirements** We are looking for people who are **proactive, analytical, problem-solvers, and excellent communicators** . As a minimum you must have: + **Bachelor's degree completed** (University degree essential). + **Advanced English** (essential for communication with global teams and customers). + In-depth knowledge of **Core Tools** : **APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and MSA** . + **Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification** . + Strong **statistical knowledge** and proficiency in **Minitab** . + Experience as a **metrologist** and/or working with **measurement equipment** .
