Quality Engineer

🛠 Drive Engineering Impact Where It Matters Most

In this role, you'll bridge the gap between design and production—engineering reliability into our electromechanical actuators and solving real problems with real products.

You’ll be part of the engineering core—designing test methods, analyzing root causes, and leading process improvements that directly affect how we build, qualify, and improve critical systems.

This is a launchpad for engineers who want autonomy, technical challenge, and the ability to influence both product design and process integrity.

📌 Responsibilities

Lead root-cause investigations using 8D, fault-tree, and engineering analysis methodsDevelop and validate test methods, fixtures, and tooling for product verificationCreate and maintain process FMEAs, control plans, and capability studiesSupport qualification and validation activities (FAI, design verification, PPAP)Partner with design and R&D engineers to feed field and process data into product enhancementsDrive process improvements using engineering methods (DOE, SPC, tolerance studies)Review product designs for manufacturability, repeatability, and robustnessGenerate clear technical documentation, reports, and operator training aidsCollaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production, test, and field supportUnderstand ISO 9001 and related requirements—not for box-checking, but for system thinking

📌 Requirements

BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline3–7 years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing or development environmentThis position requires access to onsite locations managing government information, which contains Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirements, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.Comfortable with test method development, design feedback loops, and hands-on problem-solvingFamiliar with GD&T, root cause analysis, and design validation principlesAble to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams

⭐ Preferred Experience/Skills

Experience with actuator or motion-control systems (electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic)Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationExperience designing test fixtures or automated inspection setupsCAD fluency (SolidWorks, Creo)Working knowledge of Minitab, JMP, Excel, or Python for data analysisExposure to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or IEC 62304 standardsFamiliarity with manufacturing processes (machining, casting, assembly, PCB integration)Experience with supplier quality or new product introduction (NPI) is a plus

📍 Why You’ll Thrive HereReal technical challenge with immediate impactFull project visibility—not just a corner of the chartLeadership support without micromanagement

📍 Benefits Starting from Day 1:

Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (including FSA and HSA options)

Life Insurance + Supplemental Life, Child, Spousal, and AD&D Insurance

Short and Long Term Disability

Retirement Planning, 401(k) plan, & Financial Wellness Resources
