Job Description

ResponsibilitiesLead a machining team of five, working on the floor to review drawings and blueprints.Develop quality plans and apply problem-solving techniques and process improvements.Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.Engage in customer and client communication to address quality concerns.Work with the quality team to verify and inspect blueprints and drawings.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Conduct PPAP and audits to ensure quality assurance.Train and lead a team of five, focusing on floor operations and contract machining.Essential SkillsQuality engineering and assurance expertise.Proficiency in root cause analysis and PPAP.Experience with audits, ISO9001, and AS9100 standards.Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, engineers, and vendors.4-10 years of relevant experience.Experience in aerospace is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with GD&T.Ability to work on the floor and understand machining operations.Experience in an ITAR facility.Soft skills are highly valued.Work Environment
The work environment is a machine shop setting, focusing on precision machining with opportunities to work directly on the floor and engage in contract machining. This role emphasizes a combination of technical skills and effective communication, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and quality assurance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
