About the role

 

Position Objective:

 

Keep the Quality System up-to-date by monitoring implementation, compliance, and maintenance for compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, customer requirements, and continuous improvement plans.

 

Duties and Activities:

 

1. Management System Implementation

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with regulations (ISO 9001 & IATF 16949)

• Coordinate internal and external audits of the quality system.

• Manage non-conformities: identify, investigate, and document non-conformities and their related actions within the quality system.

• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.

• Prepare corrective action plans for external and internal audits.

• Review new requirements applicable to IATF standards (sanctioned interpretation) and ISO 9001.

• Complete and monitor engineering change documentation.

•Conducts supplier audits according to the audit plan and follows up on findings.

•Manages and follows up on supplier complaints.

•Actively participates in the development of new suppliers when required.

 

2. Documentation & Document Control (Implement the system in operational and administrative processes.)

• Maintain the Quality Manual in accordance with the standard's requirements.

• Document the required processes, procedures, instructions, and formats.

• Ensure that all documentation is controlled according to a document control system.

• Review engineering changes with corporate management.

• Review documentation for new projects.

• Create checklists for new projects and engineering changes.

• Verify that the required records are being generated and maintained correctly.

 • Conduct internal audits

3. Monitoring and continuous improvement of the system.

• Monitor the quality system's performance indicators.

• Periodically review the effectiveness of the implemented system.

• Coordinate management reviews and generate the corresponding reports.

• Propose and implement improvement actions based on findings, indicators, or suggestions.


4. PPAP Documentation Control

• Periodically inform the General Management about the progress of new projects.

•Review of documentation sent by the AVERY DENNISON plant or suppliers

•Constant communication with corporate to review phase changes in APQP documentation control

•Responsible for reviewing and accepting suppliers' IMDS into the system

 

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

Ensure the IMS complies with the applicable ISO 9001 & IATF 16949, ( ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Desirable)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Academic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management Engineering or related fields.

Advanced knowledge of quality standards: ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949.

Management of quality tools such as CP, AMEF, PPAP and APQP.

Knowledge in process and product audits

Must have a strong detail orientation in problem solving (8D, 5WHY, etc.)

English (Intermediate).
 

Preferred Requirements 

3-5 years of experience in manufacturing in a similar production environment.

Track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
