**Your main tasks:**
+ Quality Planning & Support: Provide timely quality support for new products, processes, and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
+ Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction: Lead and support quality improvement projects focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, and operational excellence.
+ Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Use advanced problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis) to resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
+ Customer & Supplier Liaison: Interface with customers and suppliers to manage complaints, conduct audits, host Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and resolve quality issues.
+ Quality Systems & Audits: Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), perform internal audits, and ensure compliance with standards.
+ Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare quality performance reports and use analytical tools to assess process capability and product quality.
+ Team & Training Support: Collaborate with assembly teams, provide quality-related training, and support teams in meeting cost, quality, and delivery goals.
**Your ideal background:**
+ Good standard of mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering knowledge
+ Demonstratable experience within a quality role
+ Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
+ Degree (HNC ) in an engineering or quality discipline would be desirable
+ Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
+ Auditing Qualification or experience
+ Working Knowledge of ISO9001:2015
+ Understanding of Lean Methodologies
