Quality Dimensional Engineer - Current Model, BCE

Dedicated engineer assigned to oversee several plants under one PVT Supervisor.  Responsible to work with Dimensional Control Engineer at responsible plants to support focused work on improving the main KPI's for Bodyshop capability.  Help to develop workplans to improve capability.  Drive sharing of best practices and lessons learned across plants.  Help to maintain accurate data in WBDM and support SPC discipline.  

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)Knowledge and experience with manufacturing and assembly operations and/or vehicle launchesSelf-starter, requiring minimal directionProven problem solving capabilitiesStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to operate in a multi-tasking, demanding environment and meet timing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Six Sigma and/or FMEA principlesProject Management skillsBody Construction Manufacturing Engineering program understanding
