Job Description
This position involves performing routine testing using various chemistry techniques within the pharmaceutical industry. The role requires someone with direct industry experience who can immediately make a significant impact.
ResponsibilitiesConduct routine testing or other analysis within a specific group or department.Perform advanced testing and/or critical testing as required.Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.Have working knowledge of raw materials testing and release.Utilize instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP, and others.Lead investigation activities to ensure process compliance.Ensure adherence to all data integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expectations.Maintain compliance with good documentation practices.Essential SkillsProficiency in HPLC, GC-MS, ICP, and wet chemistry.Experience in quality control and analytical chemistry.Knowledge of capsules-tablets and MDI (Medical Device Inhalation).Capability in data entry and raw material analysis.Additional Skills & QualificationsChemist I: 1-3 years of industry experience or co-op experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.Chemist II: At least 3-5 years of industry experience.Focus on Level II expertise due to previous hiring team experience.Work Environment
Work within a small team of 15 people focusing on quality, with extensive cross-collaboration across different departments. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Fall River site serves as the main location for product testing, with an emphasis on inhalants.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
