Your Role: 

We have an exciting new role available for a Quality Control Technician to join the team in Haverhill, this is an excellent opportunity for either a recent graduate/college leaver or an experienced candidate looking to develop. As our QC Technician, you will support the department to carry out 100% QC checks of Oligonucleotides onsite. You will be responsible for the preparation of analytical equipment (MALDI-TOF, ESI LC/MS, HPLC) and reagents to perform quality control analysis, interpret and analyse analytical data whilst providing feedback to internal customers regarding failures for troubleshooting and prevention. You will accurately archive data by following correct logging/archiving in accordance with QMS, you will analyse returned product and provide QC information on customer complaints and lead investigations, identifying root causes and appropriate preventative actions. 

This is a night shift position working Sunday to Thursday 11pm – 6am.

 

Who You Are:

HNC/HND or BSc/MSc degree within Chemistry or a relevant Scientific disciplinePrevious experience of working in a laboratory is preferredExperience with HPLC or Mass Spectrometry is preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills and computer literate (Microsoft Excel / mass spec geometry / LIMS), with some knowledge of ISO or similar QMS is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
