Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesRole/Purpose:Responsible for performing final QC inspection and shipping of metal detectorsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform QC inspection and shipping requirements for metal detectorsTest mechanical operation of equipment to ensure that it meets Safeline specificationsComplete final Quality Assurance check list, PVC, and shipping documents.Photograph and document equipment being shippedResponsible for proper and safe packaging of equipment and movement to shipping DeptMaintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and managementMaintains highest achievable 5S ratings throughout all areas of responsibilityAdheres to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedWhat You Need to SucceedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to QC and document performance, readings and settings on Performance Verification Certificate for metal detectorsBasic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic hand tool operation and test equipmentBasic mechanical and electrical aptitudeGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie Stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of timeAbility to work in a high paced environmentSafety consciousThis position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
