Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Laboratory Setting, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

**Job responsibilities**
+ Perform Environmental Monitoring sampling by following designated sampling points and locations.
+ Water sample collection and testing.
+ Train and qualify in aseptic gowning techniques, performing required tasks in an aseptic environment while wearing sterile gowns.
+ Maintain accurate records and logs according to FDA, GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13484 standards.
+ Sample incoming raw materials, bulk retentions, and packaging retentions from various value streams.
+ Ensure efficient transfer of samples to the Quality Control Lab and investigate any sampling errors.
+ Improve safety and quality within the department, representing QC in Gemba and inspections.
+ Handle sampling activities, label samples, and manage waste disposal in line with company procedures.
+ Change chart recorders, perform daily instrument verifications, and peer review documentation for accuracy.
+ Manage reagent and lab supplies inventory, develop and receive purchase orders, and maintain electronic tracking logs.
+ Prepare samples for external lab testing and manage electronic logs in the absence of a chemist.
+ Train fellow technicians and support audits for the lab, retention, and sampling areas.
+ General cleaning of the laboratories and glassware.
**Job requirements**
+ Associate Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in a science field.
+ Ability to maintain neat, accurate, and complete records.
+ Demonstrating passion for team and cross functional work.
+ Keen attention to detail and ability to handle diversified routine processes.
+ Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and operational excellence.
**Context/Environment**
+ Must work safely with materials and equipment, including exposure to fumes and chemicals.
+ Some overtime required, with prior notice for business needs and potential emergency overtime.
+ Various levels of gowning and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are necessary, including lab coats, hair/beard covers, and specialized cleanroom suits.
