Job Description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality oil products. Your responsibilities will include checking and verifying production records, spot checking labels, and creating labels for oil products. You will monitor the flow of products and take samples from production to perform PV and OSI testing in the lab. Additionally, you will conduct pH and density testing and oversee the production floor to perform quality checks.

This position offers a balanced work environment, with 60% of time spent in office working with labels, 30% on the production floor overseeing products, and 10% in the lab. The role is situated in a food-grade environment where accuracy is paramount to prevent recalls. The facility is climate-controlled, manufacturing vegetable oil and dried goods, and candidates should be comfortable getting dirty. The schedule is 6AM to 2:30PM, Monday through Friday. PPE, including safety glasses, lab coat, respirator, and gloves, is provided. Dress code requires no jewelry, jeans without holes, steel-toe boots, and t-shirts or sweatshirts without holes. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
