Quality Control Technician
The primary purpose of the Quality Control Technician is to perform quality assurance testing to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Your Challenge:
Quality Control Test and Inspection of PacStar Hardware
Apply pre-defined Network Device configuration
Execute automated scripts and manual test scripts
Perform mechanical inspection for defects
Verify manifests/packing lists against product contents
Update manual test scripts as needed
Report defects to supervisor
Present quality status to Production and Quality teams
Have primary line responsibility for the quality levels maintained in PacStar products
Performance requires physical attendance
Other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
2+ years QC or testing experience, required
Experience with simple mechanical inspection
Experience with Microsoft Windows platforms, required
Experience with PC hardware, required
Experience with Networking Devices, desired (Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
Independent professional that can perform job assignment with limited supervision
Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds of test equipment at least 40 feet
Ability to multi-task and manage various project related duties
Strong work ethic
Touch typist – minimum of 25 to 30 WPM
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
