The BASF Agricultural Specialities Limited production site in Littlehampton, produces industry leading biological pest control products formulated from beneficial nematodes. These products are used by farmers and growers across the globe in agricultural, protected ornamental and home and garden markets.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTAre you detail-oriented and passionate about quality in a lab environment? Join our team in Littlehampton, where your skills will help ensure the safety and reliability of pest control products used by growers worldwide. In this role your responsibilities will include:
Executing all routine tasks including environmental monitoring, testing of raw materials, in-process QC checks, packaging and final product QC release and testing effluent batches. Reporting any issues directly to Quality Coordinator without delay.Follow the QC work schedule to ensure nothing is missed, liaising with Quality Coordinator.Assist in the inputting and maintenance of all QC data and provide historical data and information to the relevant teams, while ensuring information protection.Follow all Company’s procedures focusing on the customer and key stakeholders. Ensuring the laboratory environment is kept clean and organized following site established procedures while promoting the Company's safety and quality approach to safeguard our products, people, and environment.Maintain slug farm in a safe manner following site procedures.WHAT YOU OFFER Educated to A level in Science (including Math) or equivalent.Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a laboratory environment (including Aseptic techniques).Excellent communication, teamwork, and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) skills. Computer literacy is essential (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with SAP or similar business software would also be advantageous.WHAT WE OFFER
