Job Description

The Roof Observer is responsible for maintaining a presence at the construction site to ensure compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, schedule, and safety procedures. This role involves completing daily quality and safety reports and other submittals throughout the week.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain a presence at the construction site on a day-to-day basis.Interact with roofing contractors and client representatives to coordinate site requirements per job specifications.Take photographs of job-site progress and document daily activities.Ensure the roofing contractor complies with Contract Documents.Complete and submit daily quality and safety reports.Inform the Project Manager of quality issues and safety violations by the contractor.Ensure incomplete work is finished prior to the final inspection.Essential SkillsProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.Coordination skills, particularly in Roofing Inspection.Quality control and inspection capabilities.2 years of experience with roofing, either residential or commercial, including demo, inspection, or shingling.1 year of experience using an iPad.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with insurance companies is a plusPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
