Responsibilities Assure all project‐related work plans and project‐specific documents necessary for performing project QC activities are accurate and availableInspect work conformance to contract and design documentsUnderstand drawings and specificationsImplement the site specific Three Phase Control System (the QCM Plan)Coordinate and maintain in wall blocking/backing and ensure installation compliance with Medical Equipment and IOT Equipment (LogCat equipment)Oversee staff of QC Technicians for execution of the Quality Plan requirementsDevelop daily quality control reports, prepare and issue detailed meeting minutes, and assist with post construction reportsOversee Submittal Process to track and assure required materials are approved in a timely Manage in‐depth technical reviews of submittals against design documentsProactively initiate deficiencies and non‐conformances documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actionsElevate issues as necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality, or non‐compliance with design documentsManage and monitor system to verify materials received are same as those identified in approved submittals and complete material receipt inspection checklistsCoordinate with the Commissioning team to witness and document 3rd Party testing, special inspections, and commissioning of building systemsCoordinate and document Closure inspection processManage a timely project closeout to include compilation and turnover of all required documentsEnforce quality control policies and inspections with all trades and coordinate responses and procedures with our JV partner and all other stakeholdersInterface with design professionals to address constructability, access, and code alignment concernsUpdate and distribute the QCM Plan as necessary to address field or team revisionsOversee the Code Alignment process to ensure all 3rd party review comments are sufficiently addressed and incorporatedManage the 3rd party Cyber consultant to ensure compliance of trade contractor components with the Cyber Security requirements Qualifications EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBS or MS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management, or CMAA CertificationDoD construction experience preferred, including firm‐fixed price design‐build construction.Large project experience ($50M to $100M+) desired.Design‐build experience and Cyber Security experience preferredLarge scale ground up hospital experience, preferably with Joint Commission inspections / certificationExperience managing Quality Control programs for large scale construction projectsStrong Microsoft Word and Excel userOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong verbal and written skillsSkilled using Microsoft Word and Excel; CxAlloy a plusAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to collaborate daily with the multi-lingual project team and contractorsAble to demonstrate both engineering and field supervision capabilitiesMust be MEP construction literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction, testing & inspectionsExcellent critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing needsHas in hand or can obtain an active passport and European work visaAbility to learn and utilize conversational German language
