Quality Control Manager

By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise. **Bombardier’s Benefits Program** With our employees’ well-being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following: + Insurance plans _(Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more)_ + Competitive base salary + Retirement savings plan + Employee Assistance Program + Tele Health Program **What are your contributions to the team?** + Perform managerial responsibilities, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, PMP, and professional development + Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the quality system, reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system + Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, safety and regulatory compliance + Determine and enforce through functional groups, quality and safety requirements in accordance with company needs, based on current regulatory and quality standards + Organize and promote company cross-functionality between quality standards and business objectives + Participate in research and development of new facility locations and implementation of quality systems in those locations + Participate in workshops to develop and standardize program cross-functionality between the business divisions + Create and maintain quality manuals, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements + Participate in workshops with customer service to review customer feedback and develop procedures to improve customer satisfaction + Maintain an internal audit schedule and perform internal audits with root cause analysis and corrective actions to demonstrate self-improvement + Correspond with representatives of the FAA and TCCA to have manuals approved and to review and approve revisions to those manuals + Act as company representative for FAA internal audits and be responsible for corrective action responses and implementation + Develop and maintain training schedules and curriculum for quality personnel + Develop and maintain tool calibration schedules and have tools kept certified and in good order **How to thrive in this role?** + Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Science or related area + 7-8 years of experience including minimum of 5 years in aircraft maintenance, 3 years in Quality Assurance, 3 years in Management and 1 year in Project Management or equivalent combination of education and experience + Working knowledge of / and experience in ISO/AS9001 certification + Working knowledge of Six Sigma methodology + Thorough knowledge of Airworthiness Standards and Regulations (TCCA / FAA / EASA / JCAB) + Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications **Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!** Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
