Job Description
The Quality Control Manager holds the primary responsibility of verifying adherence to all quality standards across construction projects. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising the implementation of construction quality control and quality assurance programs at the project level. Additionally, the Quality Control Manager is tasked with creating, reviewing, and amending Project Quality Plans to ensure they are current and compliant with contract specifications, standards, and methods.
ResponsibilitiesReport directly to the Project Manager and Corporate Management regarding quality standards adherence.Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of construction quality control and quality assurance programs.Create, review, and amend Project Quality Plans to ensure compliance with the contract and established standards.Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously.Effectively manage multiple design teams through Design/Build project phases.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of construction quality control experience.Experience working on construction projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC).Certified QC Specialist/Manager on federal construction projects.Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification or ability to obtain/renew.Strong proficiency in USACE Quality Control System (QCS) and/or Resident Management System (RMS).Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with an emphasis on Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid OSHA 10/30 certification.Valid First Aid/CPR certification.Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification.Work Environment
This position offers work stability in an unstable federal market, with a strong backlog of Federal projects for Bremerton Naval Station and Joint Base Lewis McChord. The role requires proficiency in managing construction projects using RMS and QCS technologies, and candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with federal construction projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
