Quality Control Manager
Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughsQuality Control Manager  We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to join us at Honeywell, in Ireland or Germany, where you will be responsible for partnering with the sales team to manage customer communications on quality issues, collaborating with the Geismar plant QC team and European testing labs, and understanding quality processes for various materials. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with the sales team to manage customer communications regarding quality topics, supporting the Geismar plant QC team and European testing labs such as Crealis.Understands and communicates the end-to-end quality process for bulk, blended, and packaged materials while coordinating with the ISC team on sampling and inventory management.Manages responses to customer quality complaints, including collecting voice-of-customer feedback, retained sample collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action communication.Conducts regular site visits to customers for insights on product usage and arranges audits or quality reviews upon request, while working with the HON vendor quality team on supplier audit plans.Aligns the quality approach with IATA 16949 certification, participates in recertification efforts, and interprets automotive standards and testing protocols like ASHRAE and SAE.Key Skills and QualificationsStrong background working in an automotive or other OEM quality environment (OEM/Tier1/Supplier)B.S. in Chemistry or Engineering preferredExperience working within VDA, SAE, ASHRAE, IATA standardsTrack record of running successful supplier or customer auditsSix Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt preferredOur OfferA culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation in an international work environmentMarket specific training and ongoing personal development.Experienced leaders to support your professional developmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
