Quality Control Lab Technician

Ecolab, the global leader of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician at our Greensboro, NC facility in the Life Sciences division who will be responsible for chemistry and microbiology work for manufacturing cleanroom production. In this position you will perform quality testing, microbiological sampling, maintenance, and lab instrument calibrations.

What You Will Do:

Perform laboratory testing such as specific gravity, pH, GC, titrations, etc.Collect microbiology samples in a manufacturing cleanroom environmentAssist in maintaining the productivity of a fast-paced production laboratoryRecord test results accurately and concisely in ERP Systems (SAP)Perform daily and weekly calibrations and method assurance for lab instrumentsMaintain and follow Standard Operating ProceduresFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ProtocolMaintain professional relationships with production associatesPrepare reagents and prepare samples for analytical testingSupport Quality in validations as well as customer and regulatory auditsActively participate with Quality Team MembersMaintain clean and safe work laboratory environment

Position Details:

Plant location: Greensboro, NCWork week and shift: 1st Shift (6am-2pm, Monday-Friday)Compensation package offered: $23.00 / hour

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field (Chemistry, Biology, etc.)No immigration sponsorship is available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a lab and/or cleanroom environmentInterest in both microbiology and chemistry laboratory workA high attention to detail and quality in resultsMust be able to establish and meet deadlines to produce independent resultsKnowledge of GMP and GLPProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $38,400.00 - $57,600.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
