Job Description:

Location: West Springfield, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing is hiring a 1st Shift Quality Control Inspector in the West Springfield, MA area!

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

Perform all daily quality functions- include receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection & maintain records and documentation for all those tasks
Must perform First Article Inspections
Must be able to use all inspection hand tools and perform inspection set-ups as necessary
CMM experience a plus
Must be able to read, interpret and use drawings, specifications and procedures including GDT (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
Perform in-house calibration on various inspection tools
Must be able to perform or assist in quality system audits

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be through in record keeping
Must be organized
Must be an independent worker requiring little supervision
Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
1-3 year experience as an inspector desired but demonstratable skills will be considered
