In this entry-level Quality Inspector role, you’ll be a key player in upholding precision, consistency, and excellence across our manufacturing operations. Using a range of precision measuring instruments, you’ll inspect components, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure every product meets rigorous compliance standards. You’ll perform in-process and first-piece inspections, conduct product testing, and carry out audits to verify adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices. Beyond inspection, you'll maintain detailed documentation of results, help identify and implement corrective actions when issues arise, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings at least a high school diploma (or equivalent), two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and working knowledge of quality management systems.
Responsibilities:Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify part dimensions
Read and interpret technical blueprints to ensure product specifications are met
Conduct regular audits and in-process inspections to enforce quality standards
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Document inspection results and maintain records in line with ISO standards
Assist with training production staff on quality expectations and procedures
Perform product testing and recommend corrective actions when needed
Qualifications: Experience & Education:1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Previous roles such as Quality Technician or Inspector preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills & Competencies:Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices
Proficient in reading technical drawings
Comfortable using basic shop math
Physically able to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
