**Title: Quality Control Inspector (TEMP-TO-PERM)**
**Schedule:** Monday – Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm Fridays 7:30am-1pm
**Location:** Austin, TX 78758
**Pay Rate:** $20-$25 an hour
**Environment:** Not climate controlled
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Quality Control Inspector** to join our team at an **electronics manufacturing facility** in Austin. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting electronic components and finished products to ensure they meet internal and customer specifications.
**Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:**
As our Quality Control Inspector extraordinaire, your job is to perform detail inspection of supplier parts (electronic and mechanical), in-house sub-assemblies (PCBs and modules), and final product (from small form factor oscillators to medium size frequency sources/instruments) using primarily aerospace customer drawings and industry standards (i.e., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and GDT) while supporting a low-mix production environment.
**Here's What You'll Be Doing** :
+ Perform incoming, first piece, in-process and/or final inspection on assembled products, using customer prints/specifications.
+ Responds to requests for assistance with quality issues, effectively communicate product and process defects/failures, as well as collaborating with managers/Subject-Matter-Experts to help investigate and determine cause of defective parts, units or processes.
+ Perform assigned QA product and process audits, ensuring quality control, and approving product conformity.

**Skills & Qualifications You Need:**
+ Use of mechanical & electrical instruments, microscopes/gauges, GDT
+ Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics/specifications and inspection instructions.
+ Experience, 1-3 years, in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience, 1-3 years, with Quality Management System (i.e., ISO 9001, AS9100D), is a plus.
+ High School Education or GED and prefer some College/University classes.
+ Vision abilities include close/distance/color/peripheral, and depth perception.
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
