The Quality Control Coordinator will schedule, coordinate, and monitor all quality processes to ensure Webb products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This position is responsible for monitoring the quality of incoming goods, coordination of PPAP submissions, and the communication of quality issues both internally and externally. This position will also be responsible for management of all RMA processing, including RGO’s and Warranty Claims. The Quality Control Team Leader will also oversee the daily activities of Quality Control Technicians at the Cullman, AL facility.

Quality Control Coordinator duties, including but not limited to:

Oversee and Monitor all Quality Assurance functions.Oversee and direct daily activities of Webb Quality Control Technicians.Ensure that all Webb products meet quality standards and customer specifications.Oversee all gage purchasing, maintenance, repair, and calibration.Oversee the Warranty and Return processing.Prepare documentation and reports related to quality processes.Oversee all QA audits, including MFG, Warehouse, and shipping dock audits.Oversee receiving inspection of purchased goods and evaluation of supplier quality.Oversee supplier and customer PPAP submissions as required.Coordinate engineering tests and/or operate test equipment, including brake dynamometer and rotary fatigue.Become a Lean Manufacturing leader, driving efficiency within area of responsibilityAssist and fill in for Quality Control Technician positions as neededMaintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to all safety processesOther duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsGood leadership and management skillsStrong understanding of quality control standards and methodologyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBasic math and proficient with Microsoft ExcelMechanical skills and aptitude with ability to read blueprints and use measuring toolsKnowledge of ISO/IATF standards, Measuring Systems Analysis, and Gage Calibration standardsGeneral knowledge of product validation testing

EXPERIENCE

Min. 10 Year Webb ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience in Quality Assurance preferred.
