Are you looking for an internship opportunity in Quality Control & Automation? Emerson has just the opportunity for you! We are seeking an Intern to participate in the Capsule/ Transmitter DLA sorting and Enhancement of Quality Control for MI Cables project with the objective of developing an effective work order sorting to minimize the change over of the machine and support the first in first out process and preventing mixing of MI cable raw material by using visual or fool proof control in production line.
If you are a student looking to (1) gain experience in optimizing work order sorting and understand FIFO principles, (2) learn and identify gap and inefficiency to current work flow and propose data driven process improvements, (3) develop the ability to design and implement error-proofing systems and (4) develop logic for automated detection and non-conforming materials, we would love to hear from you!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Understand the current flow and demand of the work order planning, identify gaps and opportunities for improvements on change over. Propose sorting logic to enhance throughput. Implement a check in system control to minimize the incorrect MI-cable loaded into the machine. Fool proof to detect the non-conformance for the MI-cable type.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Diploma in Industrial and Operations Management (DIOM). Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with industrial automation tools. Problem-solving mindset.
