Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Quality Compliance Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Compliance team for the QinetiQ US sector. This role is responsible for ensuring that QinetiQ US maintains all necessary Quality certifications to support its products and service offerings. The selected candidate will oversee the development and implementation of quality management systems, as well as monitoring their effectiveness; including developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting audits, and resolving quality issues. 

 

This is intended to be a working manager position which will balance establishment and maintenance of quality compliance processes, direct program support including proposal writing and leadership of the Quality Compliance team. This is primarily an on-site role with occasional domestic travel required.

Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO9001, AS9100, CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVCPlan and conduct audits of the company's products, services, and processesSupport external audits and appraisalsPerform Quality Assurance duties on direct program work where requiredRepresent Quality Assurance in new business proposals for US Government Professional Services contractsDrive Corrective & Preventative Action (CAPA) for applicable scopeWork with other departments to ensure that quality is integrated into all aspects of the businessManage the Quality Compliance team; assign work, monitor performance, set performance goals, develop talent Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related science8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 4 years in a leadership roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with a variety of root cause analysis tools and techniquesProficiency with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with ETQ quality management software, Deltek Costpoint ERP and PTC Windchill PLMFamiliarity with US Government Professional Services contracts and US Government contracts for manufacturing products Company EEO Statement
