Emerson is currently seeking a Quality/Compliance Engineer in Boulder, CO. The individual selected for this position will play a critical role in ensuring that new product designs align with related product safety standards and meet company objectives for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and performance. Additionally, this role will perform sustainment engineering related tasks, create test plans and perform product testing.
AS A QUALITY/COMPLIANCE ENGINEER, YOU WILL: Manage the product approval process and ensure the liaison between MMI design teams and certifying agencies. Product certification maintenance through interactions with DEKRA, CSA, UL, and other regulatory agencies. Experience working with global regulatory agencies and auditors (CSA, NEPSI, TIIS, INMETRO, PESO, Hygienic, Marine, CE Mark, PED, ATEX, IECEx, CRN, Metrology PAC, etc).Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Travel <5% Legal authorization to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
ABET-accredited degree Have an interest in industry standards and how they impact product design and development Knowledge of product safety standards (FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx) is desirable 8+ years relevant approvals engineering experience, including at least two years project management experience. Proven ability to organize and lead product approvals projects.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $81,600-151,500 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
