Assist Quality Engineers in the development, continued completeness and accuracy of:Process Flow ChartPFMEAControl PlanApplicable quality inspection instructionsAssist Quality Engineers in completing process capability studies, Gauge R&R activity, and other part related activitiesReview eRFX system and supplier CQI assessments to determine which suppliers have expired CQI assessmentsFor suppliers missing a valid CQI assessment:contact supplier by phone and by email to solicit CQI assessmentfollow up frequently (daily basis) with supplier on status of CQI assessmentreview submitted CQI assessment to confirm it is duly completed; verify assessment dates entered within eRFX and within electronic document are correctAs required, contact suppliers by phone and email to ensure supplier contact info within eRFX is updated and accurateConsult with Plastcoat Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineer for any concerns related to supplier CQI assessmentsFollow up with the issued QPF complaints on a weekly basisAssist Quality Engineers with special projects as requiredAll other duties as required by Quality ManagerPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplaceReport all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behaviorAdhere to applicable quality systems and IATF 16949 standardsAdhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee HandbookComply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIPConduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of ConductParticipate in and support Continuous Improvement initiativesMaintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standardsEnsure work area is kept neat and organizedPerform other duties as required

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Currently enrolled in a Quality Assurance program or related field of study

EXPERIENCE:

Familiarity with and understanding of quality concepts and principlesExperience working in a manufacturing environment is an assetExperience working with external suppliers an asset
