About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in the Quality Escalation team as part of the Commercial Banking Operations division. Learn more about career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

This position is responsible for providing first level analytical support for reviewing actions, transactions, documentation, processes and programs to ensure quality standards are met, relevant controls are followed and executed, and deficiencies are identified and addressed.

In this role, you will:

Examine and research complex programs, processes, claims, documentation, or files to ensure compliance with internal company requirements or agency or government regulationsPerform advanced, comprehensive reviews of multiple types of executive resolution transactions and case reviews within a business lineIdentify risks and problem areas and recommend improvementsResearch risks and develop solutions for problems identifiedPerform branch or office inspections on key controls, procedural, or policy inspection points to ensure compliance with company requirements, agency or government regulationsEvaluate staff knowledge and compliance with governing policies, procedures and regulationsProvide support for exam management activities and any other initiatives as neededMentor less experienced staff and assist with their developmentConsult with leadership related to results of assessmentCommunicate overall process or transaction qualityProvide feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified material deficiencies or issues including identification of inconsistencies

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Finance and Accounting concepts, methodologies and systems such as Cost Basis Accounting, GAAP, Balance Sheet or Income StatementMust be familiar with GAAP and IFRS accounting principles, loan documentation, components of financial ratios, spreading and covenantsCommercial banking experienceExperience analyzing accounting principles, tax returns, and business and personal financial statementsExperience with one or a combination of the following systems: Automated Financial Systems (AFS) commercial loan system, FIS Optimist or ICMPAbility to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members and managementLeadership skills including coaching, training, and mentoringKnowledge and understanding of loan documentationAbility to recognize service possibilities that will increase customer satisfactionSound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to apply knowledge of processes and systems to accomplish tasksExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsListen, understand, respond, and build relationships across the organizationA BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or another business-related fieldAbility to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentIntermediate Microsoft Office skills
