Job Description:At Regions, the Quality Assurance Testing Manager leads software testing strategy and activities aimed to improve the functionality of applications systems across the organization. This position will support the application development organization and collaborate with key associates in determining overall testing needs and strategy development.
Primary Responsibilities
Develops strategic plans for testing applications systems across the organizationManages comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test case scenarios for new and existing productsCollaborates with analysts in deciphering test data and implementing improvements or modifications to better meet customer needsEnsures that team is in compliance with documentation policies and proceduresDevelops and effectively implements process improvement strategies in collaboration with teams in effort to develop effective testing solutionsOversees both manual testing of applications and post-production validationCollaborates when necessary with team responsible for non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testingOversees complex testing projects and contributes as lead subject-matter expertRelies on extensive experience and judgement in determining pain points and implementing plans to address issues or technical knowledge holesCollaborates with senior management in addressing staffing needsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of quality experienceOr Bachelor’s degree in related field and eight (8) years of quality experiencePreferences

Experience transitioning from manual QA to automation.Experience using Tricentis automation software (qTest, Tosca, Testim, etc.)Experience using Atlassian software for team collaboration and project management (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary locations being for Birmingham, AL. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.
