Quality Assurance Technician
Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The QA Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with ISO regulatory requirements. This role involves inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, and conducting tests to identify defects or deviations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.Document and report quality issues and non-conformances.Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.1-3 years of relevant work experience within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of ISO 9000 standards Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systemsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with approximately 80% of the time spent on office and computer work, and 20% physically moving materials. The environment can fluctuate to a 50/50 split at times, depending on workload. The work setting is fast-paced but maintains a laid-back atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.
