Description
The QA Technician assists the Quality Department with a wide array of duties including inspection and clearance of production rooms and equipment, inspection and testing of raw materials, and participating in audits as necessary. Performs duties under the direction of the Quality Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Examines cleanliness of production rooms and equipment to determine compliance.
• Performs product and operational GMP audits with reports.
• Participate in teams to investigate audit findings, determine root causes and develop solutions.
• Communicates findings and assists in developing corrective action.
• Performs incoming inspections and testing of raw materials and packaging components
• Performs in-process testing.
• Completes testing reports as necessary
• Coordinates outside testing of materials as needed
• Conduct product complaint investigations and report to Quality Management.
• Monitors temperature and humidity of warehouse and production rooms.
• Releases finished product.
Skills
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred
Previous exposure towards quality or manufacturing
Nice to haves:
Corrective Action experience
Raw Material Testing/Inspection experience
Product complaint investigations
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
