Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: St Petersburg, FL
Pay Range: $23-26/hr
Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift Opportunities (1:45p-10p / 9:45p-6a), and weekends when needed.
What's the Job?
Perform functional quality tests on material accurately, and in a timely and efficient manner. Record and report results of inspections, failure analysis, material discrepancies, and defect data using SAP and other related databases. Conduct detailed visual inspections of material to determine product quality. Coordinate with Production line technicians and/or supervisors when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits. Perform root cause failure analysis and disposition of returned material.What's Needed?
High School Diploma/GED. Minimum 1 year of experience within a manufacturing/production/quality environment. Good to proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite. Able to comprehend engineering drawings and specifications. Knowledge of Quality concepts and terminology such as ISO 9000.What's in it for me?
