Quality Assurance Technician I $18-22.00 an hour I  2nd Shift M-F 2:30p – 11p What Matters Most:Competitive pay ranging from $18.00 – $22.00 an hourTemp-to-hire opportunity with potential for career growth and stability On-site position located in Lake Mary, FLMonday – Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm Play a critical role in serving the commercial, agricultural, and defense industries when you become a Quality Assurance for a custom fabricator of metal solutions in Lake Mary, FL. Your New Role:As the Quality Assurance Technician, you are responsible for executing quality policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance to the ISO and customer specificationsAudit the preparation of In-Process and Final Audit Report1st Piece Approval ProcessGenerate PPAP, ISIR and FAI layoutsOperate CMM, Faro Arm, Virtek, or any other Quality Instruments What You Will Need:2-year degree or equivalent blend of education and experience1-5 years in Quality Engineering/Technician role within a manufacturing settingProficient in CAD, Microsoft Office, SPC-based software, and ExcelUnderstanding of ISO 9001 requirements and related Quality Management System (QMS) processesThorough understanding of Nonconforming Material Reporting (NCMR) using forms and work instructions, Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and blueprint readingFamiliarity with SPC, PPAP submissions, including FMEA, GAGE R&R, and Control Plan creationBasic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as stamping, laser, CNC punch, press brake, and welding Benefits and Perks:Eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision insuranceWeekly pay periods401k matching up to 5% Your New Organization: Our client is a premier metal assembly manufacturer serving both commercial and defense industries, with two advanced facilities totaling 240,000 sq. ft.
