Responsible for accurate and timely technical contract review for orders placed at the mill. Technical contract review includes (but is not limited to): Capability Determination, Qualification Determination, Specification Review, Technical Correctness and Consolidation of test requirements.
Essential Functions
Responsible for accurate and timely technical contract review, for orders placed on Toronto Mill. Technical contract review includes (but is not limited to): Capability Determination, Qualification Determination, Specification Review, Technical Correctness and Consolidation of test requirements.
Responsible for generating a Tech Edit report for each order placed on the Toronto Mill which contains all relevant processing and testing information.
Responsible for technical assistance and response to Customer Inquiries, as required.
Assigning processing and testing details per order to meet customer/order/specification requirements.
Attend daily meetings with product team members to resolve order issues.
Assist in developing weekly reports/measures.
Customer contact (as required) to resolve technical issues.
Assist in determining SAP master data change requirements
Must be willing to work overtime to ensure that projects are implemented on a timely basis

Education and Experience
Two or four year degree and/or 5 years minimum relevant experience in a metals manufacturing
Special Skills
Must be detail oriented
Ability to logically analyze problems and derive practical solutions.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and convert into real test requirements.
Disciplined and methodical administrative skills.
Good communication skills at all levels.
PC literate (emphasis on MS Office Products, Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.).
