Quality Assurance Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will oversee the development, and implementation of quality assurance processes. You will work closely with project management staff and clients to evaluate and ensure the quality and delivery of our services, while identifying and addressing any quality deficiencies or inconsistencies within the project.

What you’ll be doing:

· Development of Quality Assurance Processes: Assist in process improvement by providing recommendations on both processes and technical improvements.

· Testing: Oversee the creation and execution of testing strategies, develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts as necessary.

Analyze test results, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance software quality and refer issues to key stakeholders and management for follow-through.

· Quality Control: Ensure that all software releases meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Identify areas where inspection strategies and design standards need to be revised.

· Collaboration: Collaborate with development, project management, and other teams to identify and resolve software defects.

· Stay Updated: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.

· Documentation and Reporting: Ensure documents (procedures, work instructions, and records) are managed and maintained.

· Develop, maintain, and coordinate monthly quality reports with trend analysis for management.

· Mentorship of Junior QA testers through participation in quality reviews, and giving and receiving constructive feedback

· Responsible for the review and approval of direct report time sheets and time-off approvals in Costpoint

· Regularly meet with direct reports through bi-weekly or semi-monthly 1:1 to discuss performance and goals

· Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews for direct reports

· Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members

· Lead projects by creating JIRA boards, tasks, running daily meetings, tracking progress and taking responsibility for any successes or failures of the project or the team’s work

· Take ownership of multiple projects to ensure the success of any projects led by those on your team, regularly checking in with the team to ensure they have everything they need to succeed

· Some travel for data captures, training, and customer collaboration may be required

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or relevant combination of education and experience

Experience in game-based training application development

Experience as an instructor or higher in BOTH Aviation Operations and Aircraft Maintenance

Military experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
