Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist will review and enhance quality control methods for both current and new products manufactured in-house. This role involves guiding teams on quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability, addressing internal quality issues, and understanding customer quality expectations.

ResponsibilitiesReview and improve quality control methods for both current and new products.Guide teams on quality checks to ensure accurate and reliable results.Oversee internal quality issues, track resolution speed, and ensure effective solutions.Work directly with customers to understand their quality expectations and address concerns or feedback.Implement internal quality systems to meet company goals and customer standards.Organize and evaluate documents such as inspection standards, product change requests, and engineering changes.Handle early-stage quality issues, check for recurring defects, and decide on actions for faulty materials.Prepare and maintain reports for monthly management review meetings.Analyze testing data from production and share key findings with leadership.Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards like ISO14001 and IATF16949.Essential SkillsQuality engineering experienceQuality assurance expertiseRoot cause analysis proficiencyExperience with PPAPBachelor's Degree3+ years in quality or manufacturingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAutomotive experience preferredBachelor's degree preferredWork Environment

The position is based in a large and modern manufacturing facility equipped with state-of-the-art amenities such as a new gym, locker rooms, showers, and a full cafeteria with a chef offering daily changing meals. The facility features robotics on the floor and is air-conditioned. Employees are provided with uniforms after 90 days. Long sleeve shirts and pants are required, with no jeans permitted. The company offers a 401K with a 5% match after 6 months and has plans for future growth, having already purchased adjacent land. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
