Quality Assurance Specialist 1

Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.** **Your main tasks and responsibilities:** + Performs order entry review to ensure requirements are included in processing documents.Review includes Customer Purchase Orders, Regulations, Specifications, Procedures, Source Surveillance requirements, etc. + Reviews Procurement Documentation and internal Work Orders for Quality and Code requirements. + Generates, prepares, and approves documentation per Customer Purchase Order requirements. + Reviews and revises Quality Assurance procedures as required. + Performs Commercial Grade Surveys and NQA-1 Audits on Suppliers, including NIAC membership audits. + Assist in Supplier Development and selection. + Maintain Non-Conformance and Corrective Action program. + Supports, cooperates with, and participates in EHS Management System, including following safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. + Sulzer procedure review and implementation assistance. + Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards. + Performs other duties as necessary. **To succeed in this role, you will need:** + NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certified, preferred. + Working knowledge of ASME, ASTM, AWS, and other relative codes, preferred. + Basic knowledge of NDE Methods, UT, PT, MT, VT, and RT, preferred. + Good written and oral communication, organizational skills, high integrity, and ethics required. + Proficient in Microsoft and SAP applications + Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, and specifications, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. + High School Diploma required. + Ability to perform duties at a fast and demanding pace while maintaining accurate records. **What we offer you:** + Paid time off and 12 company-paid holidays, plus paid time off to volunteer + 401(k) plan with a 6% company match + Comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability + Motivating wellness program + Employee assistance program + Service awards at 5 years + Paid paternal leave + Gym reimbursement + Health savings account with employer matching No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role. **Do you have a question about the role?** **Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
